๐ŸŒฟKate Middleton Appears To Acknowledge Her Break From Royal Duties Through Touching Words At Public Appearance

During her appearance on Thursday, September 4, after a seven-week absence, Kate Middleton appeared to allude to her absence from royal duties.

For their first combined official engagement since their summer vacation, the 43-year-old Princess of Wales and her 43-year-old husband, Prince William, visited Londonโ€™s Natural History Museum.

Kate, who has supported the organization since 2013, came today to view the museumโ€™s gardens, which are being utilized as a teaching tool.

While meeting with a group of schoolchildren who were taking part in the educational programs at the museum, the royal couple was caught in a downpour.

As it began to rain, she held up an umbrella and told the teachers: โ€œLet them go in, letโ€™s take them inside, itโ€™s pouring,โ€ as per the BBC.

Arriving at the museumโ€™s door, according to the Mirror, Kate told Dr Sandy Knapp: โ€œSorry itโ€™s been such a long time for me to come back,โ€ seemingly addressing her time away from royal duties.โ€

Kate last visited the museum back in 2021, while it was in the early stages of development for the Urban Nature Project.

Sitting down in the activity centre, she said: โ€œSorry we are a bit wet. It was nice and dry and then suddenly within seconds, it was such a lovely day.โ€

William laughed and added: โ€œBut itโ€™s nature, in amongst nature.โ€

The Princess of Wales also flaunted her new blonde hair during the visit, having switched from dark brown to a considerably lighter shade.

For the formal event, she donned a brown blazer over a white shirt and her long hair in loose curls.
